The original Red Gill fishing lures were designed by world war II veteran Alex Ingram in the1950's. He took inspiration from the fighter jets wings he flew during the war. Once retired, he settled in the Cornish Fishing village of Mevagissey in South West England, since then we moved operations to Devon in 2002 and now operate out of Dorset, always supported along the way by fellow anglers and commercial fishermen who have helped us develop our lures to be what they are today.
